Scented Christmas Wreath Workshop with Hilda & àile - Sunday 29th November 11am

What does Christmas smell like to you? A walk through the forest, an evening by the fire, or the comforting scent of orange & cloves... Join Hilda and Gill from àile for a special morning of wreath decorating and scent blending. You’ll leave with your own decorated wreath and two aromatherapy products made with your chosen winter scent, ready to enjoy throughout the season. Your wreath We’ll hand-make each wreath base at Hilda, adding fresh seasonal greenery before you arrive. Then it’s over to you to choose your decorations and velvet ribbon, with the Hilda team on hand to help bring it all together. Your winter scent We’re bringing together Hilda’s wreath decorating and the popular àile Blending Bar for a Christmas workshop with a difference. Gill, aromatherapist and founder of àile, will introduce you to three winter scent profiles: Forest, Fireside and Pomander. Each has its own character, inspired by the places, people and Christmases that stay with us. Explore the scents and choose the one that feels like your winter. Gill will guide you through the recipes to make two products featuring your chosen scent: A 5ml neat oil blend to scent selected elements of your wreath, such as cones and wooden decorations, and refresh them throughout the season. It can also be used in a suitable oil burner. A 30ml ambience mist to spritz over your wreath or use as a room spray. She’ll also show you how and where to scent your wreath, and how to refresh it over the weeks ahead. No experience needed. Come with a friend or join us on your own, with prosecco and mince pies to enjoy along the way.
