Tabby Cat Profile - Watercolour

6x9" watercolour of a tabby cat There’s something lovely about a cat in profile. That little nose, the alert ears, the whiskers pointing towards whatever has caught their attention. 🐾 This little tabby has been taking shape in watercolour, with soft washes of colour and those familiar stripes. I love the moment when a few marks start to feel like a cat with thoughts of their own. 😺 A small portrait, but even in profile there’s so much character in that watchful eye and elegant silhouette. Her whiskers are painted in gold.
