Ivo de Santis for Gli Etruschi Ceramic Dog Sculpture

Mid-Century Modern Italian Glazed Ceramic Dog Sculpture by Ivo de Santis for Gli Etruschi. Bring a striking splash of Italian avant-garde design into your space with this rare vintage 1960s glazed ceramic dog sculpture, designed by renowned artist Ivo de Santis for the iconic workshop Gli Etruschi. Known for creating whimsical yet sophisticated animal forms, de Santis masterfully captures a stylized, modern silhouette finished in a high-gloss, dripped polychrome glaze. The vibrant pop of saturated fiery orange dramatically contrasts against deep cobalt blue and texturized, cream-colored dripping paths down the base. It is an exceptionally artistic, playful statement object that makes an excellent conversation piece for any modernist mantle, shelf, or tabletop display.
