1960's Rogers Powertone 14x5 Snare Drum

60’s Chrome Over Brass Roger’s 14x5 Powertone in players condition. Stripped and cleaned, with new Remo Hazy reso and Remo coated Ambassador batter heads. New 20 strand Puresound snare wires also. There isn’t a paper tag inside the shell, so judging by the snare throw off and the badge I believe it was made in Roger’s Ohio factory rather than the Fullerton factory. Being a COB shell it sounds very similar to a Ludwig 400. All original lugs, snare throw off, internal dampener etc. I believe a couple of the tension rods have been replaced. One tension rod is particular to different drum keys as it’s slightly larger square head on the rod. Lots of scratches on the chrome, and a few small dents. This snare is in players condition, so please check photos carefully. Lovely sounding snare drum.
