M1 coffee table by Metaform from the 80s in bronze-coloured stainless steel

Metaform M1 coffee table from the 1980s with a 2 cm thick clear glass top, made by the Dutch company Metaform in a special version with a bronze-coloured stainless steel frame. This coffee table was purchased in the 1980s from De Sprong Interieurarchitectuur at Springweg 15 in Utrecht, at the time an exclusive interior design store affiliated with the Goed Wonen association. Source: information from the original owner and a Metaform catalogue, coffee tables section. Dimensions: 106 × 100 × 45.5 cm (W×D×H). The glass top is 2 cm thick. The condition of the vintage coffee table is very good, with light signs of use consistent with its age. There is a small chip on the underside of one corner of the glass. It is barely visible, but is mentioned for completeness.
