The BigBattery NEXUS 2 Battery + EG4 12000XP ESS System delivers high-capacity energy storage, powerful split-phase output, and scalable off-grid energy independence. Combining the 16kWh NEXUS 2 LiFePO₄ battery with the EG4 12000XP off-grid inverter, this system provides a flexible foundation for powering homes, cabins, workshops, and backup applications. The EG4 12000XP delivers up to 12,000W of continuous 120/240V split-phase output with 15,360W of surge capacity for approximately 10 seconds. Its two high-voltage MPPTs can utilize up to 24,000W of solar power, providing substantial charging capacity for large solar arrays and expandable battery banks. Paired with the NEXUS 2—featuring 16kWh of LiFePO₄ storage, 314Ah capacity, 150A continuous discharge, and up to 7.6kW of continuous battery power—the system provides dependable energy for household essentials, appliances, pumps, tools, and other off-grid loads. Its 270A one-second peak discharge rating supplies additional current for short equipment-startup demands. The NEXUS 2 features an integrated BMS with multiple safety redundancies, RS485 and CAN communication interfaces, and a rugged IP54-rated floor-standing enclosure suitable for indoor or outdoor battery installation. Its advanced LiFePO₄ cells are rated for more than 8,000 cycles, providing over 12 years of service when cycled daily under appropriate operating conditions. The 12000XP can operate entirely off-grid or use grid and generator input for supplemental charging and load support.
