Still in production today, it remains one of the longest running commercially available designs. Powered by silent quartz movement, it runs on one AA battery (included). His series of wall clocks and desk clocks are some of the most frequently reproduced in the world today. Riki helped establish the Japan Industrial Designers’ Association and received many awards including the Japanese Medal of Honor awarded by the Government of Japan during his 102 years of life.
