The platter is a zodiac disc: constellations, numbered rings, drifting clouds and a sunburst at the center. Two oval cartouches carry KARMA on the left and SIDE A on the right, with the line What goes around, comes around set below in engraved script. Baroque scrollwork fills the corners, cherubs sit at the top right and lower right, and a gold tonearm sweeps in from the edge. Down the right side runs the control panel with pitch and stylus force sliders and start and stop keys, with silver knobs at the left corners.
