Amazing Ammolite Medicine Bear

An exquisite Medicine-bear with turquoise eyes carved from an ammolite is by Kenric Laiwakete. Ammolite is an opalized ammonite mollusk fossil. Specific geological and mineralogical processes along with aragonite had to work together to create this iridescent gemstone. When held to a light source you can see subtle fiery green, orange and light red or pink hues within this wonderful Bear's center. A jazzy alternating heartline or breath path is from clean turquoise and apple coral inlays. About 2 1/4" long, 3/8" wide and roughly 1 3/4" tall.
