28 mm x 20 m Two-Leg 12-Strand HMPE Towline Bridle 12-strand single braid in HMPE, 28 mm diameter, 20 m overall, spliced and ready to rig. Two legs, 20 m overall. One end carries 1.0 m (3 ft) soft eyes with chafe guard around the eyes and 3.6 m (12 ft) up the line; the other end carries 0.5 m (1.5 ft) soft eyes with chafe guard around the eyes. What it doesA bridle splits a single towline into two legs so the pull is shared across two points on the hull instead of one. Each leg is spliced with its own soft eye and carries chafe guard where it bears.The legs are handed differently at each end — a longer eye where the bridle meets the towline, a shorter one at the hull connection.
