A limited release of one of Scotland’s most treasured heritage barley varieties, the Aberargie Golden Promise Expression allows the rich character of Golden Promise barley to take centre stage. Aberargie is a family-owned Perthshire distillery producing its single malt from barley grown on its own 300-acre farm Produced using 100% Golden Promise barley, this limited-edition single malt has been matured in a carefully balanced combination of 68% first-fill bourbon casks and 32% first-fill sherry butts. The result is a rich, full-bodied whisky with layers of warm buttery pastry, baked orchard fruits, stewed apple and brown sugar, complemented by gentle baking spices and a long, satisfying finish. We have received just one case of this much-anticipated release, so availability is extremely limited.
