Richard Mille | Reference rm67-01ti | A Grade 5 Titanium Automatic Extra Flat Wristwatch
The RM 67-01 Automatic Extra Flat represents the first ultra-slim interpretation of Richard Mille's signature tonneau case geometry. Engineered to achieve an exceptionally slender profile while preserving characteristic three-dimensional depth, the design translates the high-performance athleticism of the manufacture into an architectural, remarkably refined wrist presence. The three-part tonneau case measures 38.70 mm by 47.52 mm with a total thickness of just 7.75 mm. Milled entirely from grade 5 titanium, the housing is secured with grade 5 titanium spline screws and nitrile O-ring seals, achieving water resistance to 50 metres. Its gentle curvature follows the anatomy of the wrist for extraordinary wearing comfort. At its core beats the skeletonised calibre CRMA6 automatic movement, which measures a slender 3.60 mm in height. The baseplate and bridge framework are machined from grade 5 titanium, refined with microblasted grey and black electroplasma treatments. The balance features a CuBe four-arm free-sprung assembly operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Winding efficiency is provided by a bidirectional OneWay mechanism equipped with ceramic ball bearings and a heavy platinum rotor. Energy is stored within a fast-rotating mainspring barrel completing a rotation every six hours, yielding an autonomous power reserve of approximately 50 hours. The openworked dial displays sculpted solid metal Arabic numerals treated with Super-LumiNova, mounted on twin titanium rails integrated directly into the calibre. Functional indications include a vertical semi-instantaneous date aperture at 5 o'clock and a crown function indicator at 2 o'clock detailing Winding, Date, and Hand setting selections.
