This Canopy Parts Kit includes FITTINGS and MOUNTING BRACKETS only. The EMT conduit frame piping is NOT included. EMT poles must be purchased separately. The main framework poles (Electrical Metallic Tubing - EMT) are sold in standardized 10' lengths at any major hardware store. Slope Awning Canopy Fittings Kits come with Roof Fittings, Foot Pads, Side Wall Fittings and Mounting Brackets needed to secure your awning to a building/structure. Slope Awning Fittings have a 102 degree angle with a 2.5" rise per foot. Fittings are made of galvanized steel and have a 1" diameter. 1" Fittings pair with 1" EMT. Foot Pads provide stabilization and ground anchor points for your Canopy structure. The base of each Foot Pad Fitting has three pre-drilled holes on the perimeter allowing anchor nails or hardware of your choice to secure your structure to the ground. Side Wall Fittings allow you to build One Side Wall. This will tie your Canopy structure legs together for added horizontal strength and will also provide an attachment point to fixate a side cover. Mounting Brackets are specialized to fit 1" EMT conduit. Do-It-Yourself Canopy Parts Kits are useful for a variety purposes. A Slope Awning is an excellent way to provide protection from sun and rain, especially when unilateral water drainage is desired. Awnings are designed to attach directly to a building or structure. This economical design saves money because less Canopy Fittings and EMT poles are needed than when building a stand-alone Canopy structure. Low Slope Awnings are often used as carports, and shade structures for porches and patios. Canopy Parts Kits are user friendly and affordable. Constructed of galvanized steel, they are rust-resistant and will not be subject to termites, mold and rot that affect wooden structures. They do not require specialized equipment or advanced construction skills to assemble. The pre-cut Canopy Fittings have slip-fit/eye bolt connections to make installation quick and easy. They can be used for temporary, semi-permanent, or permanent purposes. Instructions for assembly are included with all Canopy Kits.
