Six Week Intermediate Wheel Throwing | Saturday Mornings

Day: Saturdays Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Cost: $325 Location: 244 Commercial St., Nevada City, CA 95959 If you want to take your wheel throwing to the next level, this 6 week intermediate course taught by seasoned potter Andrew Sellery is for you. Across the six weeks, hone your skills and learn new ones. Instruction on collaring and bellowing cylinders, creating lids/jars, throwing off the hump, plates, altered shapes, and using larger amounts of clay can be expected. Student requests for demonstrations are welcome. Please note the techniques in this class lean on a strong foundation of basic centering and pulling learned in the beginner series. Students who have taken the beginner series but continue to struggle with centering and pulling are encouraged to repeat that series before moving on to the intermediate course.
