Skillard’s S30 Hood Strut Kit adds gas-strut hood assistance to the 1970–1978 Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z. Remove the factory torsion bar setup for a cleaner look and more space behind the grill. The kit frees up room for intercooler placement and reduces obstructions in the airflow path while providing hood assistance through two gas struts. Choose the kit for your Datsun 240Z: 1970–1973 Datsun 240Z. 260Z/280Z: 1974–1978 Datsun 260Z and 280Z, including 2+2 models. Both versions include black powder-coated mounting brackets and tumbled raw aluminum backing plates. Select the correct model-specific kit when ordering.
