Narcissus 'Albus Plenus Odoratus'

Narcissus Albus Plenus Odoratus produces full, rounded flowers made up of layers of pure white petals around a small yellow centre, giving this double Daffodil a wonderfully old-fashioned character. The strongly scented blooms appear from late April into May, bringing colour and fragrance to the garden towards the end of the main Daffodil season, when their fresh white flowers make a particularly welcome sight. The unusual blooms also make excellent cut flowers, with their intricate layers of petals giving a vase arrangement plenty of texture and detail. Once planted, these bulbs are happy to get on with things, returning each year and gradually becoming a familiar part of the garden. They suit borders, pots, and containers, so there are plenty of ways to find a place for them, while full sun or partial shade and fertile, well-drained soil will keep them growing happily. After flowering, the foliage can be left to die back naturally, allowing the bulbs to recharge ready for another display the following spring. These bulbs are supplied at a size of 10/12.
