Dry Leaf Indigo Vat Kit – by Kathy Goddu

This Dry Leaf Indigo Dye kit is made with Percicaria Tinctoria plants grown, harvested, and dried by Kathleen Goddu of Brunswick, Maine. Dried indigo produces a pale robin egg blue and Kathy has included a sample set of fabrics to inspire you to achieve varying shades of blue depending on your fiber. This kit will give you all the hard-to-find supplies needed to make a dry leaf indigo vat with 15-16L of dye liquid. This kit includes: -100g dry leaf indigo -(3) 15g packets of Soda Ash -(3) 12g packets of Thiox -(1) 3g packet of Thiox -Instructions -Supply list -Fabric samples You will supply your own stainless steel pot, vinegar, dish detergent (optional), dish washing gloves, and fabric. You will need to heat your vat up to 155 degrees F.
