Thrum Mitten Class - Tuesday Evenings - November

Tuesday evenings with Alana from 7-9 PM November 10, 17, 24 & December 1 Thrummed mittens are the coziest of the mitten family, think a warm hug for your hands. Super fun to make and they look great too. In this class you will learn about the basics of mitten knitting as well as the art of adding soft roving pieces to those mittens for added warmth and beauty. These super squishy mittens are perfect for our Winnipeg winters and make really great gifts, too!! Skill level: Intermediate Class fee: $70 Supplies needed: 1-100g skein of worsted weight yarn such as Estelle Superwash Merino Worsted or Cascade 220 Heathers 5mm needles either dpn or circular if you prefer magic loop Written pattern will be supplied by the instructor.
