Trilokini 14 is an original mixed media sculpture by Indian contemporary artist Romicon Revola. Measuring 20 × 24 × 12 inches, the work takes the form of a female bust rendered in fibreglass and resin with a heavily textured surface in green and gold tones. Multiple small brass butterfly forms are attached at various points across the head, face and shoulders of the figure. The surface of the sculpture has a deeply worked, irregular quality — layered and uneven across the entire bust — with areas of gold, ochre and teal visible within the dominant green. The eyes of the figure are closed. The butterflies vary in tone from bright gold to darker olive, and are positioned individually at different angles across the form.
