Bread Case B

Crafted from fine bamboo strips, this basket has an elegant, refined appearance with a Western-inspired aesthetic. Use it as an alternative to a vanity case, keeping personal essentials together in a thoughtfully crafted everyday object. It can also hold a dedicated tea or coffee set, much like a traditional nodate basket used for outdoor tea gatherings. A Tradition of Bamboo Craft In Beppu, Oita Prefecture, woven bamboo baskets and strainers are said to have been used as early as the first century CE. Over the centuries, bamboo craft developed into a valued traditional art form. Today, these baskets are being rediscovered as practical everyday essentials, appreciated for their natural material and their place in a more environmentally and ethically conscious way of living.
