Water Pump Block Off Plate Suzuki GSXR1000 2017+

Designed and developed in-house by the MP Team, this billet water pump delete block-off plate replaces the factory mechanical water pump for dedicated drag racing and competition applications. We have seen gains up to 3-4 HP on the Dyno as the mechanical drag of waterpump that amplifies as RPM climbs is removed at the crank level. Ideal for racers converting to an electric water pump, the plate provides a clean, lightweight solution while maintaining a reliable seal using the original Suzuki O-ring. It is also included with the MP Performance Electric Water Pump Kit and is available separately for custom cooling system builds. Installation Notes Reuse the original Suzuki O-ring if it is in good condition. Lubricate the O-ring with clean oil or small amount of silicone grease before installation. Clean the mating surface throughly taking care not to scratch the shiny surface. Tighten mounting bolts evenly to the OEM specification 10Nm. If using Titanium bolts with copper grease torque it to 7.5Nm.
