Its body and door combine hardened steel, high-pressure concrete, and proprietary hard-to-drill materials, with a 5 ¼" thick door and a 3" thick body protecting everything inside. The door is secured by ten 1 ¼" thick bolts (5 active), a SECURAM ProLogic L01 electronic lock with keyway, an additional hard plate guarding the locking mechanism, and a mechanical relocker. The same concrete construction that resists attack also makes the safe naturally resistant to fire, backed by a 2-hour factory-tested rating at 1850°F and a heat-expanding door liner. Inside, 20 cubic feet of storage and five adjustable steel shelves make the DVX-5828 a strong fit for jewelry stores, banks, and pawn shops.
