Looking for mealworms in larger quantities? From time to time, a surplus of inventory is available at special bulk pricing. Availability and sizes will vary, so check the options above for current bulk deals. Mediums average 5/8"-3/4", Larges average 3/4″ to 1", Smalls average 1/2" - born and raised in Missouri. Pupation possible: all mealworms here are chemical-free. For Large mealworms, expect pupation, less if you put them in cold storage, but you'll still see pupation. Use this to your advantage - the freshly molted larvae and fresh pupae, which are very white in color, are soft...great for chicks!! Shipping Details Shipped on Mondays via USPS Priority, Hold For Pickup - this means you pickup the package at your local post office. USPS Post Office Locator HOLD FOR PICKUP at your post office is the default shipping method To maximize survival, your package will be shipped via Priority Mail to your local post office where you will need to pick it up. The tracking number will be emailed to you once shipped, you will be responsible for setting up tracking with USPS (email/text) and picking up your order promptly when it arrives. Any shipment sent to a post office via hold for pickup is entitled to a one-time replacement. If you do not want your order held, please add No Hold for Pickup to your order. This voids the live arrival guarantee. Orders placed by Sunday at 8pm central will ship out the next Monday. If Monday is a holiday, then shipments will go out Tuesday.
