TELLURIAN MARSANNE

Tellurian Marsanne is a fantastic example of just how good this variety can be coming out of Heathcote. Beautifully aromatic, with honeysuckle, citrus blossom and a touch of spice, followed by fresh green apple, lemon peel and a lovely textured palate. The time spent in French oak adds complexity without overpowering the freshness of the wine. One of the things I really love about Marsanne is how incredibly well it ages. It's delicious young, but give it a few years in the cellar and it develops wonderful richness, depth and complexity. This Tellurian has the structure to age beautifully through to 2035. A seriously underrated variety and a cracking food wine. Enjoy it now with roast or smoked chicken, or put a few bottles away and see how it evolves.
