Watch Overview Available here is a vintage Croton automatic chronograph wristwatch, dating to circa late 1970s. Croton has produced watches for the American market for generations, becoming a widely recognized watch brand by the mid-20th century. The watch is powered by the Swiss ETA/Valjoux caliber 7750, a self-winding chronograph movement with 25 jewels operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Its functions include central chronograph seconds, a 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter, small seconds, day and date displays, and stop-seconds. The black dial features luminous baton hour markers and hands, three recessed sub-dials, and a day/date display at 3 o’clock. The 30-minute chronograph counter is at 12 o’clock, the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, and small seconds at 9 o’clock. A tachymeter scale runs around the outer edge of the dial. The 41mm case features a black PVD finish, fixed bezel, and a stainless steel caseback. It is fitted with a black fabric strap. It has been inspected by our in-house watchmaker and is running and keeping time.
