French Mid-Century Modern Tiled Bar Cart

A distinctive French bar cart with a graphic tiled top set within a black tubular metal frame. The sculptural lines, raised handles and open mesh lower shelf give the piece a light, architectural presence, with a playful modernist character reminiscent of Mathieu Matégot. Mounted on casters, it can serve as a cocktail trolley, drinks cart or mobile display for glassware and decorative objects. A decorative example of French mid-century modern design, this rolling bar cart brings together the texture of tile, the linearity of black metal and the practicality of two tiers. This bar cart is in very nice vintage condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.
