Victorian Porcelain Bathing Beauty | Risqué Staffordshire

Fabulous, very rare erotic Victorian porcelain figure of a nude woman hiding behind a sheet. They are sometimes called “bathing beauties.” I love the tinting on her chest! Just under 5” tall, she would have been a matchstick or toothpick holder. No obvious maker’s mark on the bottom but she was likely manufactured in Germany in the mid to late 19th century. Condition is good with some minor surface soiling from age.
