Camellia edithae

Camellia edithae is a rare and elegant evergreen camellia prized for its glossy dark green foliage and beautiful soft pink to rosy-red flowers that appear from late winter into spring. This cool-climate shrub brings colour and structure to shaded gardens and performs especially well in southern Australian regions with mild summers. Ideal for partly shaded positions with rich, well-drained acidic soil, Camellia edithae is perfect for feature planting, woodland gardens, hedging, or large containers. Regular watering during dry periods and protection from harsh afternoon sun will encourage healthy growth and prolific flowering.
