"America" rug no. 13 in Chartreuse / Natural White

Handmade knotted rug crafted by old four shaft looms with pedals. Wise hands creates the warp and the weaving, by carefully following a centuries-old techniques. Our carpets comes from a seed planted in an agricultural handmade educational center in south of Italy. The collaboration with the textile workshop Fondazione Le Costantine allowed us to explore variations on the theme of the most classic motifs of the textile tradition, created by skillful hands interpreting the warp and weft. A peaceful oasis where the aim is to build sustainable livelihoods for women having the possibility to develop their personality and inclinations.
