Biedermeier desk with five smooth column legs raised on a recessed plinth base and fitted with a wide drawer beneath the elongated rectangular top with rounded ends. The desk is veneered in mahogany and has been hand-polished. Possibly after a design by Joseph Danhauser. See: furniture design, Design for a canapé table, Joseph Ulrich Danhauser, MAK Inv.nr.
