An Art Deco era ring, hand fabricated in platinum, whose primary gem is a long, cushion-shaped, black opal cabochon (Lightning Ridge, Australia). This extraordinary opal exhibits strong, primarily blue/green fire, that presents in long, overlapping "brush-strokes. Red and violet flashes round out its exceptional, dense color-play. Our opal is held in a smooth, low-profile bezel, where it is flanked by arrangements of bezel-set triangular and marquise-shaped diamonds. The ring has a decorative, scrolling, wire-work gallery, and its slender half-round shank tapers toward the base.
