The anti-theft kit is simple to install; it perfectly integrates with the TEMO·1000's design without compromising your ease of use. How to use the anti-theft kits for the TEMO·1000 electric motor? Battery protection: The first metal bar is inserted into the through-hole provided on the motor cover. This is then locked with the first padlock, making it impossible to remove the battery. Locking the motor to the motor mount: The second level of security concerns attaching the motor block to the motor mount. A second metal rod passes through the mounting arms (same location as the safety rod), locked by a padlock. The motor is thus held securely and cannot be detached without the key. Securing the motor mount to the boat: Finally, the third padlock locks the tightening screws of the motor mount on your transom.
