The live auction took place at the InterContinental Hotel in Double Bay and featured a curated selection of fine art and antiques from Iona—a landmark Victorian Italianate mansion in Darlinghurst. The contents of Iona, the former Sydney home of Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin , were auctioned by Artvisory following its $37.5 million sale to Bryant Stokes. The auction included original furnishings from the Luhrmann-Martin era, European antiques, and Australian impressionist works. Every Australian piece sold, with the standout result being Janet Cumbrae-Stewart's Nude with Shawl (1927), which fetched $90,000 and set a new auction record for the artist.
