"Brushstroke Roses" Vintage 1950's Brushstroke Rose & Sequin Dress UK 8 US 4

A beauty to behold, rendered in the softest shade of grey with a pattern of brushstroke roses in a greyscale palette and pink accents, this original 1950's polished cotton dress, is sure to be a favourite in your collection. The square cut neckline is framed by medium width shoulder straps which set off the sleeveless cut. The elegant line of the bodice, boasts tailored darts along either side of the bust-line, which draw the eye to the double front seams, which accent the longline cut and cinched in waistline. The dropped skirt line is set off by a matching piped edge and elegant draped side bow. The elegant skirt-line, which is lined in a single layer of pink tulle, features small fathered pleats along the piped edge, completing this dress in a timeless and iconic silhouette. Finished with a scattering of pink and iridescent sequins along the left hand side of the bodice, which are twinned with a matching scattering of sequins along the left hand side of the bow.
