Upon his release from a mental hospital following a nervous breakdown, the directionless Anthony joins his friend Dignan, who seems far less sane than the former. Dignan has hatched a harebrained scheme for an as-yet-unspecified crime spree that somehow involves his former boss, the (supposedly) legendary Mr. Henry. Set in the summer months of an undisclosed American state, this story plays out like an innocent group of primary school children robbing their next door neighbours. Yet silly dreams have serious consequences, but none of the protagonists (particularly Dignan) seem to think too much about that.
