Antiqued mirror. An elongated, warm, octagonal sapphire in a streamlined bezel setting. No mining is necessary to collect these magical stones from the Umba River Valley in Tanzania; they move to the earth's surface with seasonal rains and the natural erosion of native soil. Sapphire is a symbol faithfulness and sincerity; it is the September birthstone. Set in a streamlined setting with an open back, this unheated sapphire is set in a solid gold bezel setting and was made completely by hand in our San Francisco studio. Sold separately from a chain.
