Edwardian Era Celluloid Floral Jewelry or Keepsake Box, Dated 1901

Antique Edwardian floral jewelry or keepsake box dating to 1901 as noted on a gift tag on the bottom which reads: “From – Mrs. Wm Ames Xmas 1901”. Features a beautiful pansy print lid, ornate working latch, and pale green silk/satin lined interior. Measures 7.5" wide, 6" deep, and 3" tall. There is some lifting to the celluloid covering on one end of the lid and one corner as shown. Interior silk/satin has scattered spots typical of age and a small tear near the hinge covering.
