This blend is a great alternative to those who are sensitive to mohair, but still would like that fluff in their knitwear. Because this delicate fiber comes from a Suri Baby Alpaca, it is butter soft, silky, and light as a feather! Although alpaca is not a strong fiber on its own, the generous silk percentage in this base gives this yarn plenty of strength for various knit and crochet items.
