Long Roimata Pendant from Fours Winds Carving in Gisbourne Due to the individual nature of the pieces they may vary from those pictured 1cm x 7cm (all measurements are approximate) Ewan Parker works exclusively in Pounamu (New Zealand nephrite jade) and carves a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces. His work is beautiful and springs from the respect that he has for the stone. Many of his pieces are carved as if the pounamu has directed the shape and style, asking to be released from the stone.
