Beginner Throwing<br>Sundays, June 7th – July 19th, 2026<br>10:00AM – 1:00PM<br>*Class Skips July 12th*

This course will introduce the fundamentals of throwing clay on the wheel. Class begins with the essentials like wedging and learning to properly center. Hyesoo offers excellent hands-on instruction teaching students the fundamentals of making cups, mugs and bowls. Students will also be introduced to alteration methods like sculpting, darting, and faceting, as well as forming handles, and trimming feet. There is ample time to practice through repetition and create a cohesive designed set or you can explore though more iterative, open-ended experimentation. Class culminates with learning to glaze your pots. Final work will be available 3-4 weeks after last class. Please note that class skips July 12th.
