Meru Washed | SL28 · SL34 · Ruiru | 1780–2000 masl A high-altitude single origin from the slopes of Mount Kenya's Meru region, one of Kenya's most exciting specialty coffee growing areas. Grown at 1780–1900 masl, this coffee carries everything you'd expect from a great Kenyan: bright, clean acidity, a heavy, textured body, and a long sweet caramel finish with warm nutty undertones. The washed process; fermented, carefully washed, and dried on raised beds, keeps the cup clean and the flavour clarity high. Varieties SL28, SL34, and Ruiru bring the best of classic Kenyan cup character: winey depth, structured acidity, and a sweetness that lingers. Best brewed as a pour over.
