Celebrate Father's Day on the PAGU patio with a hands-on masterclass in Japanese live-fire grilling. Guided by Chef Tracy Chang, you’ll learn the art of skewering, timing, and grilling over premium Japanese Binchotan charcoal, the prized, clean-burning white charcoal used by top yakitori masters. What You’ll Learn: The fundamentals of cooking with authentic Binchotan charcoal. Grilling, skewering, and heat-management techniques for different proteins. Recipes and secrets behind PAGU’s favorite master marinades, tares, and sauces. The Menu (Includes a Full Lunch): Chicken Yakitori – The quintessential Japanese classic. Mishima Reserve American Wagyu – Exceptionally marbled beef, grilled to perfection. Korean Cut Beef Kalbi – Sweet, savory, and beautifully charred. Hamachi Kama – Succulent, rich yellowtail collar with a crispy, smoky skin. Seasonal Veggies – Shiitake mushrooms, summer squash, and blistered peppers. *Rain or Shine: This is a hands-on class held outdoors on our PAGU patio. In the event of rain, the class and grilling will move safely indoors. *Guest will be working with raw meat and smoke. If you are a vegetarian or sensitive to smoke we advise you to take one of our other classes. *This is not a physical product. Children are welcome as ticketed students. Young children under 10 must be supervised. Guests will be eating and drinking on site as well as taking food home from the class.
