His passion for cooking started in early childhood. Today, he leads cooking classes for amateur chefs, works on tasting dinner projects in and outside Bulgaria, and develops a street food business with a fine dining twist - challenging the perception that street food equals junk food. He is a board member of the Association for Accessible and Quality Food, which acts as a mediator between institutions, businesses, and consumers. This is the only Bulgarian organization that is part of SAFE Food Advocacy Europe, a highly trusted entity within the European Commission on issues concerning food quality. A graduate in food safety engineering from UFT Plovdiv, Chef Nemigenchev strongly believes in the farm-to-table concept as a foundation for putting Bulgaria on the global culinary map. Every Saturday and Sunday, he appears as a culinary host on BTV’s morning show and on the BTV Radio food segment.
