Subtle, light-catching ridges radiate from the center of Nishiyama’s glass serving bowl. While manipulating the temperature of his hand-blown pieces, the master of katabuki (kata meaning “mold” and buki meaning “blow”) experiments with gravity, forging irreplicable signature textural finishes. Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Each piece is individually handmade, and natural variations in color, texture, size and finish are to be expected and celebrated.
