Präst Cheese Mild Arla 720 Arla Ko® Präst® is a wonderfully creamy cheese, with hints of saltiness, pleasant bitterness and sweetness. The cheese is perfect as a topping or on your lasagna. Präst® has its roots in 18th-century Småland. The name comes from the fact that the cheese served as a means of payment when it was time to pay the church tax to the priest. When making the cheese, a little extra cream was added to appease the priest and to this day Präst® is a little fatter than other cheeses. Arla Ko® Präst® is made at Kalmar dairy using fresh milk from Öland and Småland. The Arla Ko® brand guarantees that the cheese is made from 100 percent Swedish milk.
