Conventional locking round rings with re-enforced tabs. Binder base is complete with 2 - 1/8'' high riser rivets, usually used for vinyl attachment. For Wooden binders these make excellent screw locations and the 1/8'' rise lets the locking mechanism function above the wood surface.
