Jacques Herbin Writing Ink 30mL Violette Pensee (Violet Pansy)

Violette Pensee is a true bright purple ink. One of Jess' faves and was traditionally used by French school children in the 19th-20th century as the default ink. Properties: low shading, no sheen, and no shimmer. Not water resistant. High flow suitable for pointed pen work. As a dye-based ink it's not suitable for presentation work (as it might fade in the sun). Works best on fountain pen friendly paper, like Midori. 30ml 'D' shaped bottle with a pen rest. Made in France
