The fabrics often show some wear and tear, and signs of use, which we try to disguise or integrate as best as possible. This means that some pieces require a lot of work in terms of cleaning and "restoring" the fabrics and embroidery. On Grita's page, you will not find references to gender. We create our pieces without thinking about who will wear them, because everyone wears what they want. That's also why we don't follow certain sewing conventions (e.g., buttons on the left or right). We do it randomly or on the side that enhances the beauty of the shirt. As these are old fabrics, especially if they are embroidered, it is very important to follow the washing recommendations.
