Grown on a select few trees in our Multan orchards — some of which were planted by our grandfather, Late Haji Laal Muhammad, in the 1960s and 70s — these are the mangoes we'd send to our own family. What it tastes like Pale yellow skin with the lightest mottling, smooth fiberless flesh, and an aroma that fills the kitchen before the box is even opened. The flavor is the complete Chaunsa profile: intense honey-forward sweetness (typically 20–22° Brix at peak), floral top-notes of jasmine and citrus, and a long aromatic finish. Texture is buttery soft once fully ripe — almost custard-like. Lay mangoes stem-side down on a tray in a cool, dry spot. No fridge yet. Daily smell test. When the room smells like mango from across the kitchen, they're ready. Refrigerate when ripe.
