Sainte-Maxime plage d'hiver et d'été -commissioned by the state-owned French National Railways SNCF to promote travel to the picturesque coastal resort town of Sainte-Maxime on the French Riviera. The striking Art Deco design by the notable French artist Roger Broders (1883-1953) features large palm trees framing the image depicting bright orange and yellow sails of moored yachts in a deep blue bay, with sun-drenched, white-washed villas of the town stretching along the hillside beneath a blue sky. Printed by Art Et Tourisme, Paris. Excellent condition, backed on linen.
